Objectives: 1. To bring uncultivated fallow and unused homesteads under cultivation in order to increase agricultural production, 2. To produce vegetable and spice crops to meet the family nutritional needs of 503,160 farming families throughout the year, 3. To enhance the skills of 177,120 farmers and 5,760 assistant agricultural officers in establishing, maintaining and expanding family nutritional gardens.
